Welcome and thank you for visiting Study in Faith!
Study in Faith is here to bring the light of God’s word in a 5 Minute Bible Study to people from all walks of life, regardless of race, ethnicity, culture, or social status. It was founded upon a fourfold mission to share God’s word from scripture, to bring a message of hope for seekers, to help people grow in their faith, and to foster charity and love among people. Bible Studies are thought provoking, scripture filled and life changing!
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these [is] charity.
1 Cor.13:13
Each Bible Study is based around scriptural themes and topics bringing relevant and relatable verses together from Genesis to Revelation. Consider them as more than a devotional but much smaller than a book; a Bible Study to inform, to inspire and to bring the message of the gospel to a world in need. Study in Faith aims to take a literal interpretation of scripture wherever possible while clearly acknowledging intentional uses of figures of speech, allegories, metaphors, euphemisms, similes, etc., and to let scripture interpret scripture.
Written in an easy to read format with separate sections to mark transition of thought, each Bible Study travels through almost every verse, chapter and book of scripture. The studies also endeavour to uncover subtle nuances that are often overlooked while reading scripture. Terminology typically used in Christian authorship, i.e. exegetical, hermeneutics, ecumenism, etc., is largely avoided since it does little to edify seekers of faith. Most importantly, Study in Faith adheres to foundations of faith in Christian doctrine, while staying impartial to often controversial and debatable topics and opinions.
With each Bible Study, readers are encouraged to pray, discuss and contemplate them throughout the week. They may take a few minutes to read but the depth and length is designed to provide sufficient evidence and information to build a case around each message. It is with sincere prayer that people will see that even in today’s culture, it is still okay to pray, it is still okay to have faith, it is still okay to read scripture and it is still okay to have Jesus in your life! Bringing a message of hope, it is with earnest desire that all people will come to a knowledge of saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him:] for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Hebrews 11:6,
